Friendship Coaching for Men
1:1 coaching for men who want real friends: guys you can call, count on, and be yourself with.
How it works
1. Apply
Fill out a short form so I know where you are and what you're looking for.
2. Free discovery call (20 minutes)
What we'll discuss:
Where your friendships are right now
What's getting in the way
What you want your social life to look like
Which path fits you best: Make a Friend, Keep a Friend, Be a Friend, or the Full Build
Whether coaching is the right fit for you
3. Start coaching
We meet by video. Between sessions you take on one small real-world action, a "Rep," so progress happens in your actual life, not just in our sessions.

What clients say
"Wes gave me something I'd never experienced: a place to work through my day-to-day struggles as a man, without judgment. Since working with him, I open up to others with more compassion, connect better with my partner, and I've started repairing my relationships with my family."
— David, coaching client
Is This Right for You?
Coaching is a good fit if:
You have people around you but no one you'd really call
Your friendships faded after college, a move, a relationship or kids
You want guy friends but don't know where to start, or how to ask
You're the one who shows up for everyone, but nobody checks on you
You're ready to take small real-world steps, not just talk about it
Coaching isn't the right fit if:
You're in crisis or struggling with depression, trauma or addiction. Therapy is the better first step, and I'm happy to help you find a referral.
You're looking for dating or pickup coaching
You want someone to fix things for you without putting in the Reps
Frequently asked questions
Is this therapy?
No. Therapy treats mental health conditions like depression, anxiety or trauma. Coaching builds skills and helps you reach specific goals, in this case building better friendships. If therapy would serve you better, I'll tell you on our call and help you find a referral. Coaching isn't covered by insurance.
What kind of guy hires a friendship coach?
Probably not who you'd expect. Most of the men I work with are successful, busy and well liked. At some point they noticed they had plenty of people around and no one they'd call. Getting help with friendships is no different from hiring a trainer for your fitness.
I'm not lonely. I'm just busy. Is this for me?
Most of my clients said the same thing. For a lot of men, "busy" is how drifting apart shows up. If your friendships have faded or you don't have anyone you'd call when it matters, this is for you.
How do I know which path is right for me?
You don't need to know. We'll figure it out together on your free discovery call. Most men have a sense of where they're stuck but can't name it. That's my job.
What if life gets busy and I need to pause?
You can pause. Work, family and life happen, and the program is built to flex around them.
Can you guarantee I'll make friends?
No one can control how other people respond. What I can promise is that you'll know exactly what to do, you'll have practiced it, and you'll have taken real steps in your actual life by the end.

What's a "Rep"?
A small, real-world action between sessions, like texting an old friend, inviting a coworker to lunch, or saying yes to plans you'd normally skip. Reps are where the change happens. Sessions are where we plan and debrief them.
What if I'm introverted or socially anxious?
That's common, and it's fine. We start where you are and build from there. Friendship skills can be learned, and you don't need to become the life of the party to have real friends. (If anxiety is getting in the way of daily life, I'll talk with you about whether therapy might help first.)
